**Systems Integration & Test Manager x 2 - Defence

| Role: Systems Integration & Test Manager x 2 Salary: £44,000 - £59,000 region Location: Bedford A lead systems integrator and advanced technology company is looking for a Systems Integration & Test Manager x 2 Responsibilities for the role will include: ·Manage the integration and testing of in-house developed and subcontractor developed, components, systems and subsystems. ·Oversee the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. ·Direct the following activities: establishing functional and technical test specifications and standards, solving hardware/software integration problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. ·Manage the development and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. ·Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. ·Coordinate system trials with the Authority to ensure final system Acceptance. ·He/she may also be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. ·The candidate will have frequent contact with internal personnel, outside customers and industry peers at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts. ·He/she will conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations. For this role the successful applicant will require good technical and customer facing skills and have experience of working on military / defence industry projects.
